Tarun Arora, who got his major break in Bollywood with the coming of age romance-drama ‘Jab We Met’, will be seen as the main antagonist in Chiranjeevi’s undershoot 150th film.

Over the last couple of months, speculations rife as to who would play the baddie in the action drama, and it eventually fell in the ‘Kanithan’ actor’s lap. The film’s director VV Vinayak thought highly of the suave actor and rooted for him to play negative lead, which would be charismatic and stylish.

According to sources, “Tarun, who recently found fame in Kollywood, has managed to strike a chord with his intense screen presence, salt and pepper look and chiselled body in his debut and Tamil blockbuster ‘Kanithan’. Vinayak believes that the actor can prove to be lethal, create a strong impact on the audience and do justice to the role.”

Tarun too is kicked about his new endeavour (Telugu debut) and is working hard to get into the shoes of his character. He has been working on his nuances and mannerism to perfect his role.
