Ritu Varma cast opposite Nikhil

Ritu Varma, who has received glowing reviews for her portrayal of Chitra in the romantic comedy ‘#Pelli Choopulu’, has another reason to rejoice. Presently prepping up for her role opposite Sesh Adivi in his next with Abhishek Pictures, the Hyderabad actress has now been chosen as the leading lady in Nikhil Siddhartha’s upcoming film directed by Sudheer Varma. Interestingly, this project too is backed by Abhishek Pictures.

A source informs, "Ritu was narrated the script recently and she has given her nod. Sudheer was convinced she'd be ideal for the role after watching her natural performance in ‘#Pellichoopulu’ and so approached her.” The pre-production of the yet-untitled film is in the last phase and it is expected to go on floors next month. An action-thriller, it will be shot in places like Rajamahendravaram and Kakinada.
