The makers of forthcoming indie film ‘Nenostha’ are happy that top-drawer director Puri Jagannadh has unveiled the film’s teaser and taken a strong liking to it too. Film’s director Parand Kalyan recalls, “He lauded the teaser and curiously had a glance on the posters. He even enquired about the locations where we have shot.”

Dubbing the film as a romantic thriller, the director adds that the film is told from the point of a guy (played by newcomer Gnan) who doesn’t digest seeing others happy. “A couple (played by Surya Srinivas and Priyanka Pallavi) on the brink of a breakup decide to address their concerns and go on a road trip to reconcile. It is here the grey character enters and starts troubling them. How they get out of it and how their relationship gets thickened is what the film all about.”

Kalyan, who assisted filmmakers like Gunnam Gangaraju, Srinivas Raaga and Vijayendra Prasad in the past, says he has shot the film in 40 days and in places like Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Narsapur and Vikarabad. “We spent Rs 70 lakh on the film. It is a small film but we are banking on the content to pull (the) audience to the theaters,” he smiles.
