‘Mana Oori Ramayanam’, the forthcoming bilingual film (‘Idolle Ramayana’ in Kannada) narrates the tale of four souls that reflect the characters from Ramayana.

“They are at vantage point in their lives. The plot thickens when their paths cross and events unfold to take them on a journey where their emotions get better of them. It eventually leads them from sense of excitement to fear of humiliation to self-realization,” says the film’s director Prakash Raj.

The film was shot extensively in Hyderabad and in surrounding areas of Coorg, and has tunes composed by maestro Ilaiyaraja. A remake of 2012 Malayalam film ‘Shutter’, the film stars Prakash Raj and Priyamani, and is slated for release on October 7.
