After making a rather impressive debut with ‘Mukunda’, where he played Varun Tej’s bestie, a couple of years ago, Sailesh Bolisetti, a national level motorsport champion, disappeared from the Tollywood radar. He says that since his father Satyanarayana Bolisetti decided to take a plunge into politics, he was asked to look after family’s clearing and forwarding business in Vizag. “After some time, I was offered four films but I found ‘Chal Chal Gurram’ script to be different and fresh, prompting me to sign it,” he recalls speaking to Talkies.

But with him giving equal time to both business and his passion–racing, the film took time to be wrapped up. “Although it was to be completed in less than 50 days, sometimes we had breaks of 30-35 days between schedules due to my other commitments. Also, at times, we got permission to shoot at our desired places very late,” he whines.

Sailesh who had a crash course in acting from the famous Satyanand Acting Institute – albeit it went on for 11months given his racing commitments– describes the film as a fresh comic caper. “I play Manohar, an IT employee. In need of quick bucks, I join a corporate office and after coming to know another company, within the same building, offering a better paycheck, I give it an interview and get that job too. How I balance both the work places, which have the same cafeteria, without my colleagues getting to know about it is told in a humourous way.

There are also a couple of girls—one who loves me and other who hates me,” he shares, adding that a major part of the film was shot in Lifestyle building, Hyderabad. As a part of promotions, Sailesh met Pawan Kalyan on Monday in Hyderabad and admits to be charmed by his hospitality. “He knows my dad and enquired about his well-being.

In fact, he wanted dad to join Jana Sena but by then dad already made up his mind to associate with Chiranjeevi garu. He watched the film’s trailers and wished us best of luck,” Sailesh, a big admirer of the actor, informs. Next up, while he has a couple of offers, he would take a call on them once ‘Chal Chal Gurram’ opens this Friday.
