To this end, the latest we hear is that the director has approached Nayantara to play the female lead. Turns out, he even has her in-principle consent.
“The theme of the film was a clincher for Nayan, although her date diary is blocked till mid 2017 with a slew of Tamil projects. Moreover, films (‘Lakshmi’, ‘Tulasi’, and ‘Babu Bangaram’) that earlier came in Venky-Nayan combo left people asking for more, another factor which made her to consider the project,” informs a source.
The project might take time to roll, as Venky will shortly shift attention to Kishore Tirumala’s project. “Krish too is contemplating taking a break with wife Ramya post ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ releases. He knows that he hasn’t spent much time with her and is keen on compensating it with a holiday early next year.”
