Actor Rajasekhar is playing an NIA (National Investigation Agency) officer in Praveen Sattaru’s as-yet-untitled flick. Confirming the development, Praveen told Talkies, “Yes, he is playing an NIA officer who reports to Nasser who is his higher official. He has issues at home, at work and all of a sudden, he is forced into something that he is not interested in. He is in for a shock when he finds the underlying cause of it. How he gets out of it, saves his family and nabs the people behind it is what the film all about.”

He added, “The film would unfold in three days and will be on the lines of ‘Mission: Impossible’ and ‘Knight and Day’.” Praveen pointed out that Rajasekhar had to prep up for the part. “He comes from a family of police officers and knows how they go about their business. Plus, he played cop roles with élan in the past. Nonetheless, he met a couple of NIA officers, understood their body language and got to know how they operate. The prep also included a lot of a physical training as the script has lots of hand-to-hand combat action episodes and chases,” Praveen noted.

Rajasekhar is notorious for reporting late to sets and throwing tantrums. Ask him did he encounter any such incidents, he declared, “He asks you his queries at your face and if you convince him with your answers, he is all yours. In fact, he was more than happy to oblige to the changes that I’ve suggested.”

Commenting on the film’s progress, Praveen stated, “As of now, only 30 per cent of the film has been shot. We have just completed a schedule of Georgia. It was cold, windy and we had to shoot this action sequence at a reservoir. Though we were delayed by three days, we were very happy with the footage we captured. “Our next outing is in Thailand, where we will some shoot some action blocks. It’s a 15-day schedule. It will be followed by an extensive India schedule.”
