Although actress Poorna was part of a few horror films earlier, her upcoming film ‘Raakshasi’, has a unique surprise for her. Apparently a song was shot on the actress that would be completely VFX-based. This is the first time the ‘Avunu’ star will be featuring in a number filled with graphics.

“The four-minute melody song has around 130 VFX shots. We shot on Poorna in a single room in one day using Chroma - green-screen compositing (a post-production technique). But on screen, you’ll get to see picturesque locales like Niagara waterfalls, New York, etc.,” says the film’s director Panna Royal.

Apparently, Poorna, who is opposite Abhinav Singh in the film, was initially apprehensive with the idea of a VFX song. “She was anxious whether the idea works or not, but after looking at the output, she was thrilled. Apart from spending two months for the VFX works in the US for the song, we had to shell out a bomb to get the required quality,” adds the director.
