For the past one week, there have been reports about Nandamuri Balakrishna, fresh off the triumph of ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni,’ green-signaling KS Ravikumar’s next. But sources close to the actor point out that he has picked Puri Jagannadh instead for his 101st.
A source confirms, “Balayya has endorsed the scripts of both Puri and Ravikumar but its’ just that the ‘Temper’ director’s script is completely fleshed out while the ‘Narasimha’ helmer’s draft requires some more attention.
Ananda Prasad, who was supposed to produce Balayya’s ‘Rythu’ with Krishna Vamsi, is on board to pool in resources. The plan is to complete the film in flat five months and release it for Dasara. It is likely to see three heroines.”
The source adds, “KS Ravikumar’s film will be Balayya’s 102 but if Amitabh Bachchan gives his nod for ‘Rythu,’ the Tamil director may need to wait longer.”
Confirming the project, Ananda Prasad, in a statement, said the film will roll on March 9 and will release on September 29.
