Priyanka Chopra has lauded her cousin Parineeti Chopra for her maiden attempt at singing in her upcoming film, Meri Pyaari Bindu.
Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra has lauded her cousin Parineeti Chopra for her maiden attempt at singing in her upcoming film, “Meri Pyaari Bindu”.
Parineeti, 28, took to Twitter to share the YouTube link of her first song titled “Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin”.
“My first attempt at singing! What do you think? #MaanaKeHumYaarNahin out now @MeriPyaariBindu,” tweeted Parineeti.
To this, proud sister Priyanka retweeted with, “Proud of you baby! Your daddy will be proud! So would mine! @ParineetiChopra.”
The younger Chopra sister wrote back saying that she was only following the path shown by the “Quantico” actress.
“Thankyou Mimi didi want to follow your footsteps!!! Papa is happy,” Parineeti said.
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who is paired opposite Parineeti in the YashRaj film, also heaped praise on his co-star.
He tweeted, “@ParineetiChopra ki awaaz bilkul meri novel ki heroine jaisi hai (Her voice resembles my novel’s heroine) – smooth aur (and) sexy! #MaanaKeHumYaarNahin.”
