The latest update from Chennai film sources is that Kamal Haasan is all set to play the role of Sethupathi in the sequel and he is leaving no stone unturned to turn this project a prestigious one as it is going to help him for his political entry.
Kamal Haasan started working towards getting physically ready to play the lead role in the film and he has been consciously monitoring his diet and fitness regimen for a while now. Already a special trainer from the USA has been recruited for helping the actor. If everything goes well, the regular shoot of the film will begin in the first part of the next year.
