Actor R Narayana Murthy has come out in support of controversy-ridden Hindi movie, Padmavati, directed by Sanjay Leela Bansali. It may be mentioned here that release of Padmavati has been deferred amid protests by various Rajput groups and political leaders alleging distortion of history.

The revolutionary star, who was at Enumamula Agriculture Market here on Thursdayfor the shoot of his upcoming movie, AnnadataSukhibhava, said that it’s not fair to stop create hurdles for the movie that involves huge finances besides the livelihood of lakhs of people depended on the film industry. “Don’t hook films with controversies,” Murthy said.
