Nandamuri star Kalyan Ram seems to be on a new high these days as the Hindi dubbing rights of his upcoming film ‘NKR 15’ has been reportedly sold for Rs 2.5 crore, the highest in his career till date. Although he had delivered blockbusters like ‘Pataas’ earlier, the actor’s pan-India appeal hasn’t  expanded much.

Although he had delivered blockbusters like ‘Pataas’ earlier, the actor’s pan-India appeal hasn’t expanded much.

But it is a different story now. “It is true that Hindi dubbing rights of Kalyan Ram’s 15th film has been sold for a record price. Truly, his market has expanded beyond the two Telugu states. Even though the scion of Nandamuri family has been doing action films, he hasn’t got his due price,” says a Hindi distributor, on condition of anonymity.

Apart from working under the direction of Jayendran and cinematographer P C Sriram, the actor is busy shooting for his other film 'MLA' and sharing screen space with Kajal Aggarwal in this political thriller. Actually, Kalyan Ram sported a beefed up look for 'Patas' and achieved six-packs for his role in 'ISM'. But to look like the guy next-door, the actor is reportedly undergoing a huge makeover.
