Story:

The movie is based on the true incidents that happened during 1980's. Tilak (Suriya), Jhansi Rani (Ramya Krishna), and few others form as a gang. That have their own reasons of bit being able to survive well. They decide to perform CBI raids and what happens then forms the story of the movie.

Performances:

Surya Sivakumar is the major man behind this project. The way he performed in the film is amazing and his way of entertaining is splendid. He is solid and strategic as an actor in each and every scene of the film. He carried the film on his shoulders. Keerthi Suresh played the female protagonist in the film and she impressed.

She has got her part well and she impresses big time. Ramya Krishna, Karthik, Nanda and the others who played the key parts of the film are okay and made their presence felt. Casting wise t, the film is super solid.

Technical Aspects:

Technically, the film is super strong. The cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan is impressive. He has used the colours very well and applied it to the tone of the movie in an impressive manner. The editing has been noticeably well especially in some scenes.

Apart from this, the music scored by Anirudh Ravichander is good and he has got his thing right. The background music is impressive and thumping. On a whole, the film goes well in each and every single aspect regarding the technicalities.

Verdict:

Gang is one big film that released this Sankranti season. No one expected that the film would make into the festival season. With decent entertainment, the makers planned it very well. The young director Vignesh Shivam who has solid strength in directing the subjects has cleverly dealt this film in an entertaining manner.

Vignesh Shivan has made enough changes to the serious script. He has come up with neat aspects with entertaining elements and has proved his worth. There is a lot that the film speaks about but everything was in limits and in entertaining manner and in a light hearted way.

This is the best thing that can happen to an entertaining film for a festival season. On a whole, Gang is surely a film that everyone has to look up for this festival season.
