Despite his latest release ‘Agnaathavaasi’ bombing at the box office, superstar Pawan Kalyan has moved on. He has reportedly allocated 40 days for his next big ticket untitled film and expected to join the sets in February or March.

According to a source, the ‘Gabbar Singh’ star is teaming up with the reputed banner Mythri Movies who made films with stars like Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR to make a multi-crore action adventure. Even though, he was in talks with ace producer A M Rathnam for a Tamil remake, but now, he wants to do an action film with young director Santhosh Srinivas who made films like ‘Kandireega’ and 'Hyper’.

“It is like a dream come true for Santhosh Srinivas to direct a star like Pawan Kalyan as he has been waiting for it for quite some time. He has readied a gripping anger-driven story for the scion of Chiranjeevi family,” adds the source.

Sharing more information on the much-awaited project, the source adds “Pawan Kalyan will be finishing the film in the allocated 40 days as he wants to do one more film this year,” he concludes.

No doubt, the power star would be hoping to deliver a blockbuster and silence his detractors who have been pointing out to his flops like ‘Sardar Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Katamarayudu’. “It’s high time, Pawan spins box office magic to enthral his fans and audience, because his last few releases haven’t justified his charisma and talent.

He should work with young directors and pick something different to revive his winning habit,” concludes distributor Ramakrishna. Pawan Kalyan who carved a niche for himself with charismatic performances in films like ‘Kushi’, ‘Thammudu’ and ‘Gabbar Singh,’ has hit a lean patch for the last two years. “No doubt, his fan following is a bit disappointed, but one blockbuster will bring back smiles on their faces,” he concludes.
