Howrah Bridge Review & Rating 

Small movies are being the latest trendsetters in Tollywood movie industry. With no expectations, small movies are coming up with surprising content and concepts. With no need for big stars and huge promotions, some movies are grabbing the attention of the audience with extraordinary content. One such movie which might be considered under the above category is 'Howrah Bridge'.

With Rahul Ravindran as the hero and Chandini Chowdary as the heroine, the movie Howrah Bridge is made under the direction of Revon Yaadu. Take a look at the review of the movie.

Story Line:

Rahul Ravindran has played Arjun. Arjun and Shruti Alias Sweety (role played by Manali Rathod) get to meet during the childhood at the Machavaram Bridge. They get parted later, but Arjun gets connected to Sweety. In search of Sweety Arjun visits the same bridge when he turns 18 years old.

Sweety(Chandini Chowdary) is a software employee. Sweety is brought up by a man named Ajay and to show her gratitude, she decides to marry him. Arjun who mistakes this Sweety for his childhood lover Sweety gets closer to her and she eventually falls for him. What happens next is the rest of the movie.

Roles and Performances:

The only reason to watch the movie is Chandini Chowdary's glamourous screen presence. Rahul Ravindran failed to live up to the expectations in the role of Arjun. The other actors did not manage to grab any attention.

Technical Aspects:

Howrah Bridge movie's concept is good. The screenplay has lag and not at all interwoven. The camera work is not at all appreciable. Editing would be better. Production values are dull, music is okay.

Verdict:

There is no sync between the title and the movie. The concept is good with a weak narration. Because of the weak screenplay, the movie seems to be dragged from first to last. The romance between Arjun and Sweety would have been better and the chemistry did not work that well.

There are double meaning dialogues which will mislead the movie's core meaning. Though there are many artists on the screen, no one seems to be in perfect sync at all. A half-baked story with a good concept. Howrah Bridge is A bridge which leads to nowhere.. skip!
