Nagarjuna In and As YSR, But...

Young director Mahi V Raghav is planning to come up with an exciting film based on the life of the legendary politician YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

There were a lot of reports that Mammootty was considered to play the lead role in the film. The makers wanted to make the movie in multiple languages and wanted to rope in an actor who looks similar to the deceased politician. Meanwhile, we have come to know that Nagarjuna Akkineni was also approached for the lead role in the film.

Nagarjuna showed his interest in being a part of the project, but he has put a condition for the makers that he would do the film only if they play to release the film after the general elections in the year 2019.

Undoubtedly, a lot of hype will surround the film if it is planned for a release before the elections. Nagarjuna is planning to avoid the same and hence said the makers that he would do the movie if the film will have a smoother release without unnecessary controversies.
