Item girl signs a meaty role
Pretty actress Hamsa Nandini who was known for item numbers in films like ‘Atharintiki Dharedi,’ and ‘Loukyam’ has been signed up to play a key role in ‘Pantham’ featuring Gopichand. The actress was last seen in ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ starring Jr NTR in a triple role. Apparently, the actress will play a crucial role, while ‘Mahanubhavudu’ actress Mehreen will play the leading lady.

Explaining why she took up the project, the actress said that after listening to the script, she felt that the role was a substantial one and will give her an opportunity to showcase something different. Elaborating on her role, she said that she would be playing a rich woman with an attitudinal problem. She pointed out that costumes were going to be very classy.
The movie promises to be a socially relevant one and is expected to hit the screens in May this year. It marks the directorial debut of K Chakravarthy, who has written scripts for ‘Power’ and ‘Jai Lava Kusa’.
