After an average grosser like ‘Bethaludu,’ Tamil star Vijay Antony is trying his hand in a horror flick once again with ‘Kaasi. Pretty actress Anjali plays his love interest in this big-ticket film which is expected to hit the screens very soon.

Actually, Vijay carved out a niche for himself in T-town with popular hits like ‘Salim' and ‘Bichagadu' but failed to impress with the political drama 'Indrasena' and dented his ratings. After his maiden double role going kaput, Vjay Antony returns as a solo hero in his latest spooky flick.

Actually, the actor rose to fame with his decent performance in a realistic ‘Bichagadu,’ a tale of a business tycoon who takes a vow to be a beggar for 40-odd days and almost became a house-hold name in the two Telugu states. Vijay has been choosing realistic roles to rise to the top, but his action film ‘Indrasena’ stumped his dream run.
Even though his last release ‘Indrasena,’ bombed at the box office, the interest for his next flick among buyers is upbeat.
