According to trade circles, the much-hyped film ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ has been reportedly traded for more than Rs 130 crore (including theatrical, overseas, digital and satellite rights) to surpass Ram Charan’s Rs 100 crore pre-release business for ‘Rangasthalam’.

“The craze for Mahesh-Koratala Siva combination has touched the skies and their political thriller was sold for a staggering Rs 99 crore for theatrical rights alone.

It is the highest price paid by distributors and exhibitors for theatrical rights in recent times and it shows that Mahesh’s charisma and popularity remain unshaken by duds like ‘Spyder’, says a leading distributor and he adds “The film is expected to draw sensational openings since the first look, teaser and the big pre-release event in an open stadium have given the film the necessary hype and fillip.

After seeing him in person at the event, the legion of Mahesh Babu’s fans were enthused and are willing pay huge sums for the umpteen premier shows planned on the releasing day in various cities and towns. Nevertheless, leading producer Danayya is surely laughing all the way to the bank. Even though Mahesh has beat Ram Charan in pre-release figures, but we have to see whether he will surpass his arch-rival in collections post-release.
