The #MeToo movement in Hollywood made many talk about sexual harassment at workplace and mainly in Film Industry. Producer Harvey Weinstein's fall from grace has been too harsh for many to even believe.

Cate Blanchett, the multiple oscar nominee and winning actress, lead a symbol of solidarity for women filmmakers and actresses at Cannes film festival.

She stood on the stairs with 82 women at a demonstration and said, " As women, we all face our own unique challenges, but we stand together on these stairs today as a symbol of our determination and commitment to progress."

The interesting part is that the number of women took part in the demonstration is equal to the number of films that were selected to be played at Cannes, that are directed by women in its seven decade history.
