As per the trade analyst reports, Kaala set up a new Day one record at Chennai Box Office by grossing 1.76 crs surpassing 1.52 crs record set up by Mersal movie in the past. Superstar Rajinikanth is back to the form and is changing all the existing statistics at the box office. The advance bookings for the movie are going super strong in the state.
