The film is the love story between a cartoonist and a film actress. The makers have promoted the film aggressively on the social media and are expecting enormous openings for Sudheer Babu's movie.

Siva Lenka Krishna Prasad who earlier scored a hit with Gentleman in the direction of Mohan Krishna Indraganti produced this movie under Sridevi Movies banner. Story:

Vijay (Sudheer Babu) is a children books illustrator. He hates films and film stars. But, eventually, he falls for Sameera (Aditi Rao) who is a heroine. How did this change Vijay's life forms the story of the movie?

Performances:

Sudheer Babu's career-best performance is witnessed in the film Sammohanam. The actor has transformed himself into a good actor and stunned everyone with his subtle performance. On the other side, the heroine Aditi Rao Hydari is perfect in her role regarding performance as well as looks.

She also dubbed on her own for this film and deserved all the appreciations. The on-screen chemistry between the actors is very lovely. Rahul Ramakrishna who played the character Murthy tried his best to bring some laughs in the movie. Harshini and Abhay Bethiganti have played their parts well. Senior Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Pavithra Lokesh and others are good in their parts and did justice for their roles. The rest of the cast made their presence felt.

Technicalities:

The writing of the movie is too good for the film. The dialogues are apt for the situation. The music by Vivek Sagar is a hit even before the film's release, and he has done a great job with soothing and impressive background score.

PG Vinda's camera work is an asset for this film. His framing and lighting have added a lot of glamour to the movie. Marthand K Venkatesh's editing is decent. The artwork by Ravinder is excellent. The production values of Sridevi Movies are lavish.

Verdict:

Sammohanam is impressive from the beginning to the end. A simple tale has been told effectively with soulful music and brilliant performances. The characters of the lead actors were designed pretty well. Aditi Rao is beautiful in the movie as Sameera and added a lot of strength to the role she played.

The first half of the film concentrates on setting up the mood with some great moments and the second half introduces the conflict. The natural comedy, impressive performances and soulful music are the major highlights of the movie.

Undoubtedly, this is Sudheer Babu's career-best performance. Mohan Krishna Indraganti took the film to the next level with his writing. On the whole, the film is entertaining.
