Mahanati Final Box Office Collections Report

Mahanati features Keerthy Suresh as Savitri released on May 9th and took the box office by heavy storm. It is the biopic of iconic lady superstar Savitri and the film has been receiving huge appreciations everywhere. As per the trade reports, the film has collected a gross of $2,561,294 and became the 6th highest grosser in the USA, after Baahubali series, Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, and Srimanthudu. The film is produced by Vijayanathi Movies and Swapna Cinema.

When coming to the news, the film has grossed a distributor share of $1,417,187 in the USA, which is Rs. 8.50 crores in INR after deducting all the expenses like VPF and Publicity. In Non-USA, the film has grossed Rs. 1.10 Crores and making a total distributor share of Rs. 9.60 Crores alone overseas. The film was sold out for Rs. 2.50 crores, but managed to collect Rs. 7.10 Crores and became a blockbuster hit.

From AMC/Regal theater, the film has a gross of $783,963 and distributor share of $352,783. In Cinemark, the gross is $1,047,448 and $628,469 as distributor share. From Marcus, the gross and share are $91,629 and $45,815. From 8k Cinemas, the gross amount is $122,267, whereas the distributor share of $73,360. From the New Vision Theatres, the gross amount is $63,943 and $31,972. While the film grossed $452,044 and distributor share of $284,788 from other theaters.

On a total of the gross collections from the USA is $2,561,294 and distributor share $1,417,187. The deductions of VPF and Publicity are $150,000 for the170 Locations. The USA share, excluding VPF is $1,267,187 (8.50 Crores INR). In other countries, the revenue through the Telugu version is Rs. 1.10 Crores, and the overseas rights sold out for Rs. 2.50 Crores, but managed to fetch profits in the form of Rs. 7.10 Crores overseas.
