Dhanush, Anu Emmanuel film on cards?

Sexy siren Anu Emmanuel, who received appreciation for her role in ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ is now looking towards Kollywood for a big break. She is reportedly in talks for a big-ticket Tamil-Telugu film with superstar Dhanush. “It is true that Anu has been shortlisted to play the love interest to Dhanush in a big budget film. The role is bound to exploit her good looks and acting chops. Interestingly, the film is being directed by Dhanush himself,” says a source from Chennai. Just a few weeks ago, she was considered for a role opposite another big star Vijay Sethupathi which is still under consideration.

Interestingly, Anu is getting offers with big stars. After romancing biggies like Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun and Naga Chaitanya, she has similar offers from Tamil stars as well. The Malayalam actress who was seen in films like ‘Naa Peru Surya’ wants to park herself in Kollywood. “No plans to move to Kollywood,” says a source, close to the actress and admits that she is getting plum offers in Tamil and Telugu films.

“She wants to strike a balance between Tamil and Telugu movies, as she likes both the languages’ the source adds. Nevertheless, Anu needs to deliver a hit to keep her stocks soaring in Tollywood and stay ahead of her peers.
