NIA raids 10 areas in Hyderabad after terror module tip off

In raids conducted by the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) at 10 places including old city based on the intelligence inputs regarding the entry of IS operatives into the city, a huge cache of explosives was recovered from several locations in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

As per the intelligence reports, the IS operatives planned on to execute the bomb blasts, especially during Ramadan.
The NIA along with police officials have been conducting raids since Tuesday midnight and have taken 10 sympathizers into custody. The operatives who are being questioned, are suspected to have entered Hyderabad with the support of IS sympathisers after communicating on Facebook.
Meanwhile, police are continuing the raids at various locations across the city.
