52-yr-old arrested for raping minor

A 52-year-old painter from has been held for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl. According to Jubilee Hills inspector S Venkat Reddy, the accused Ashirwadam (52) was living in BJR Nagar along with his family. About one-and-half-year-ago, a woman along with her three daughters joined as his tenants.

The accused had lured the victim, who is studying Class VII, and raped her multiple times in the last two months. He also threatened the girl of making her private pictures and videos captured during the act public. Two days ago, the girl opened up to her mother, who lodged a complaint. A case has been booked under section 376, 506 of IPC and POCSO Act.
