Man dies as lorry hits bike

Kurnool (Adoni): A 60-year-old man killed in a road accident at Adoni in the district on Friday. According to I town police, the deceased Mallikarjuna (60) was riding on his bike when a speeding lorry hit him at L B Street in the town.

Mallikarjuna, who suffered serious injuries, was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. The doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead. The body was handed over to his family members after post mortem, the SI Babu said. Police registered a case.
