Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team police probing gangster Nayeemuddin case on Monday arrested the thug’s alleged associate Eshwaraiah in Mahbubnagar.
Eshwaraiah, known to be the close associate of Nayeemuddin alias Nayeem’s follower Seshanna, was picked up by the police two days ago. After collecting some crucial evidences from his home, he was arrested on Monday, said sources.
The SIT officials had so far arrested 99 persons in 133 cases linked to the gangster across the State. Sources said Seshanna, who had played a key role in crimes like land grabbing and extortion along with Nayeem, is still absconding.
