Milk and honey adulterating units raided, sealed
The South Zone police in coordination with the Task Force raided and sealed two units adulterating milk and honey and two illegal slaughter houses, during a cordon and search operation in Vattepally, Barkas and Kamatipura areas on Saturday.

During the early morning raids led by South Zone DCP V Satyanarayana, a milk preparing unit ‘Hyderabad Milk House’ in Kamatipura was raided. It was found that the unit was adulterating the milk using some powdery substance.
The SOT also found that a honey making unit in Vattepally, which claimed to be a herbal medicine making unit, was preparing “adulterated honey”. The police sealed the unit.
The team also sealed two illegal slaughter houses during the cordon and search operation. “This is the first time we are directly raiding such units with the help of geo-mapping,” the police said.
The Task Force police also rounded up 21 rowdy-sheeters and seized four lethal weapons and 65 vehicles.
