Intermediate student commits suicide in Chittoor, parents allege murder

Intermediate student from Narayana Junior College of Chittoor district, Kamlesh, committed suicide on Sunday in his his hostel room by hanging himself.

High tension prevailed in the campus in Renigunta as family members of Kamlesh along with student organizations staged a protest urging the death to be a murder and not a suicide.

The parents and relatives alleged that Kamlesh had taken this extreme step due to the psycological pressure from the lecturers of the college.

Student activists demolished the furniture in the college. Police were rushed into the campus to control the situation but a lot of damage had already taken place.
