SHE teams nab 11 eve-teasers
SHE teams of the city police nabbed 11 persons including two minors from different places who were found teasing girls and women and also creating nuisance.
Hyderabad: SHE teams of the city police nabbed 11 persons including two minors from different places who were found teasing girls and women and also creating nuisance.
While seven students were caught near Krishnanagar Park in Yousufguda, others were caught in Saidabad.
SHE teams also identified three persons – P Venkateswarlu of Anantapur, KVV Satyanarayana and T Anjaneyulu of West Godavari district – who had been harassing different women by making phone calls and speaking in vulgar language.
The details of the three persons were passed on to the police of respective districts for necessary action.
Additional Commissioner of Police, Swati Lakra, who is incharge of SHE teams, said victims need not suffer in silence.
The victims can send their complaint via mail, whatsapp or through Dial 100, she said.
