Central Crime Station (CCS) sleuths on Thursday arrested three persons for allegedly posting pirated Telugu movies on websites, thereby causing huge loss to the concerned film makers.
Hyderabad: Central Crime Station (CCS) sleuths on Thursday arrested three persons for allegedly posting pirated Telugu movies on websites, thereby causing huge loss to the concerned film makers.
The arrested persons have been identified as Kiran, Vinay aka Nani and Veerender, natives of Khammam district.
The police seized a computer, along with a hard disc, mobile phones and other incriminating material from the accused.
It may be recalled the makers of Telugu film Majnu recently lodged a complaint with the CCS stating that the original movie was uploaded on websites by unidentified persons.
Based on the complaint, a case was registered the, police said.
