Youth booked for molesting minor girl
The north zone police have registered a case under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against a youth after he allegedly assaulted a minor girl on Thursday evening.

According to the police, the 10-year-old girl, a resident of Lower Basti in Chilkalguda, was found missing on Thursday evening.
Her family initially began looking for her in the locality, but they later found her crying on the terrace of their building.
The family also noticed along with the girl 24-year-old Inayat, residing in the same building. As soon as he saw the girl’s family, Inayat fled the place.
The girl’s family persuaded the girl to reveal what had happened. On coming to know that Inayat had molested her, they lodged a complaint with the Chilkalguda police. The police have launched a manhunt for the accused.
