Man held for robbing 11 shops

Kakinada:  A man was arrested by Kakinada central crime station [CCS] police for allegedly robbing 11 shops in the city and property worth Rs 10.52 was seized from him.The accused was identified as Burra Srinivasa Gowd aka Srinu[ 43] a resident of S R Nagar, Hyderabad by additional SP, East Godavari, A R Damodar.

According to the police, his modus operandi was to choose readymade cloth and provision shops during the day and breaking into the shops at night to commit thefts. He robbed from as many as 11shops  in  Kakinada city between December 2016 and  April this year and stole readymade garments ,saris, cigarette packets and other articles the ASP disclosed .

The  ASP complemented  CCS DSO,  A Palllapu Raju and his team in  conducting the investigation and  arresting  the accused Srinu in short span of time.
