Murder accused arrested
Krishna lanka police on Saturday arrested Polimetla Srikanth on charges of murdering a youth Timmiri Kiran Kumar at P and T quarters J-block on April 18 due to personal rivalry. North zone ACP K Srinivasa Rao disclosed the details of the murderer and arrest of the accused on Saturday. He said the accused Srikanth attacked T Kiran Kumar with a knife and stabbed him to death.

North zone ACP K Srinivasa Rao disclosed the details of the murderer and arrest of the accused on Saturday. He said the accused Srikanth attacked T Kiran Kumar with a knife and stabbed him to death.
He said a dispute broke out between the two on April 18 when a cricket ball hit Srikanth’s mother at the colony. Kiran Kumar, along with his friends, were playing cricket in the P and T quarters on April 18. Same day dispute broke out between the two. Nursing a grudge, the accused Srikanth had stabbed the victim Kiran Kumar on the same night resulting in his death.
The ACP said the Krishna Lanka police arrested the accused while he was trying to escape on Saturday and recovered the knife he had used for the murder.
