55-year-old SCCL employee ends life
Jambi Rajaiah (55), Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) employee from Ramaraopeta in Jaipur mandal, committed suicide by jumping into a water tank on Wednesday night.
Mancherial: Jambi Rajaiah (55), Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) employee from Ramaraopeta in Jaipur mandal, committed suicide by jumping into a water tank on Wednesday night.
According to sources, Rajaiah had a dispute with Siripuram Lakshmi of the same village a few days ago, following which Lakshmi and her two sons had beaten him severely. His family members had admitted him in a hospital.
Lakshmi allegedly afraid of Rajaiah lodging a complaint against her with the police after discharging from the hospital. She made a complaint against Rajaiah while he was in hospital, accusing him of making rape attempt on her.
Upon his discharge, the police arrested Rajaiah and enquired him in their characteristic style. The series of unpleasant issues led him to take the extreme step.
Rajaiah’s family demanded action against Lakshmi, her sons and the police. Local legislator Odelu, who came to the spot, said the police would have solved the issue in a different manner. He assured help to the family of the deceased.
