Hyderabad: Sleuths of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on Friday detained three persons including, a woman for gold smuggling at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).
The DRI officials intercepted two passengers, including a female, who arrived from Jeddah and crossed the green channel without declaring the presence of gold to the customs. The duo was caught while handing over the smuggled gold to a person waiting outside the airport.
