Hyderabad: Ten days after the daring daylight robbery attempt at Muthoot Finance in Mailardevpally under Rajendranagar police station limits, the investigators seem to have made a breakthrough by picking up two suspects.
Sources said the suspects Rajesh and Arshad were picked up from Mumbai. It is said the two were part of the gang which looted Rajya Laxmi Jewellers at Abids some time ago. However, the police remain tight-lipped on the arrests.
It may be recalled that the robbers had made an unsuccessful attempt at robbing MuthootFinance on July 4. However, the robbers fled as alert employees raised alarm.
