A report on Times Of India states, Telugu director Chalapathi Rao and actor Srujan have now been booked for attempt to rape.The actress was supposed to reach Bheemavaram on August 13 through rail but the director and actor got her to travel by road with them.

As they approached Vijayawada, the two reportedly began to behave inappropriately with her.The police complaint was filed on Tuesday at Patimala Police station in Vijaywada.
The director is now in custody but the actor is on the run. A case has been registered on the grounds of rash driving and damaging a woman’s vehicle.
