An FIR was filed at the Kushaiguda police station against the Deputy Superintendent of Cherlapally Central Jail for alleged sexual assault on wife of a life convict on Sunday.
Hyderabad: An FIR was filed at the Kushaiguda police station against the Deputy Superintendent of Cherlapally Central Jail for alleged sexual assault on wife of a life convict on Sunday.
As per the complaint, Chintala Dasharatha, the Deputy Superintendent of the Central Jail misbehaved with Sheera Jani, wife of a life convict John Abraham, who has been serving jail sentence in a case, on Sunday. The Deputy Superintendent, who was designated authority to sanction permission for the mulakath,
reportedly misbehaved with Sheera Jani when she approached him for permission to meet her husband. Shocked over the unexpected attack by the jail official, the woman ran out of the jail and lodged a complaint with the Kushaiguda police, who booked a case for outraging the modesty of the complainant.
