In a ghastly incident, a woman killed her husband by striking him with an iron rod near Peerla Gutta in Wanaparthy town on Wednesday. Mannem (45) of Mirasipally village under Kothakota mandal and Govindamma of Buddaram village in Gopalpet mandal were married 20 years ago. Mannem moved his family from Mirasipally to Wanaparthy town 10 years ago.

Mannem (45) of Mirasipally village under Kothakota mandal and Govindamma of Buddaram village in Gopalpet mandal were married 20 years ago. Mannem moved his family from Mirasipally to Wanaparthy town 10 years ago.
Both of them used to work as daily labourers at the agriculture market yard in the town. Even, they performed marriages of their daughter and son. However, Mannem and Govindamma developed differences about five years ago. From then on, locals said that they used to quarrel very frequently. Husband and wife were at home as the market yard was closed on Wednesday.
