Hyderabad: Two persons hailing from Rajasthan were held along with the 1.4 kg of opium, 45 grams of raw material and Rs 26.5 lakhs cash, during a police raid in Maktha under Cyberabad Commissionerate limits on Thursday. The Miyapur police, with the assistance of SOT (Special Operations Team), Cyberabad, raided a house in Maktha, Mahaboobpet and seized NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) material from the house.

The accused were identified as MangilalChowdary (30) and Kishan Lal Chowdary (24), businessman and native of Rajasthan. According to police, the accused had brought the seized substance from Ranawas village, Pali District of Rajasthan through a mediator by name MangilalChowdary of the same village.
