5-year-old girl dies; father, step-mother blamed
In a shocking incident, a 5-year-old girl died under suspicious circumstances in Shamshabad on Monday night. The devastated relatives of the girl accused her father and step-mother.
Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a 5-year-old girl died under suspicious circumstances in Shamshabad on Monday night. The devastated relatives of the girl accused her father and step-mother.
As per the complaint registered with the police, Yadagiri Nayak, has two children from his deceased first wife, a daughter Tanushka(5) and a son Charan(3). However, he recently got married to another woman, Sandhya and continued to stay along with both the children.
The relatives blamed that the girl’s step-mother along with her father killed her and to substantiate their claims, they informed the police that Rs 10 lakh was deposited in the name of Tanushka in a bank. They alleged that money was the motive behind the killing of the 5-year-old.
However, Sandhya refuted the charge and blamed prolonged illness as the cause of her death. Meanwhile, the police registered the case of suspicious death and sent the body of the girl to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem and began investigation.
