Hyderabad: Police on Friday rescued a 11-year-old boy who was kidnapped within a few hours after the incident. A close-circuit television footage helped the special police teams crack the case under Trimulgherry police station limits.

According to police, B Somashekar, 24, son of a retired Army Subedar kidnapped the boy while he was on his way to tuition on Friday morning. The suspect, the police said, had threatened to kill the boy if the ransom was not paid.
