Adilabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP Nagesh’s house was broke open by burglars in Adilabad in the early hours of Wednesday and cash and gold ornaments all worth Rs 15 lakh were looted.

According to information reaching here, the MP was away in New Delhi to participate in some programmes. The burglars committed the theft after coming to know that the house was empty with the inmates being away.

They first smashed the CCTV cameras installed on the premises and then broke open the locks and gained entry into the house.

The burglars ransacked an almirah and carried away cash of Rs 71,000 and gold ornaments kept inside. A complaint was lodged with the One Town Police Station and police officers including Adilabad DSP visited the spot and took up investigations.

Interestingly, this is the third time the MP’s was house was burgled. After the first burglary, steps were taken by the MP to install CCTV cameras on the premises. However, this time the burglars smashed the CCTV cameras before gaining entry into the house and committed the offence.
