City police took into custody one notorious criminal, who was expelled from Tenali of Guntur district for committing crimes.
Vijayawada: City police took into custody one notorious criminal, who was expelled from Tenali of Guntur district for committing crimes. Commissioner of Police D Gowtham Sawang told reporters that the police arrested Kalidasu Subramanyam was a notorious criminal in Tenali and was expelled by the Guntur district police.
He said the city police received information that Subramanyam came to see his mother in New RR Pet and police nabbed him. He also informed that no cases were pending in Vijayawada city on Kalidasu Subramanyam.
The police official informed media that the city police are trying to maintain law and order and are acting without any bias. He said the city police increased patrolling in some vulnerable areas of the city and are trying to ensure maximum safety to the common people. Joint commissioner of police B Ramana Kumar and DCP Kranti Rana Tata were present in the press meet.
