Man submits fake death certificate of wife, claims insurance of Rs 1 cr
A married couple submitted a fake death certificate and documents to claim an insurance of Rs 1 Cr in Hyderabad.

A case has been registered against them and the wife, Nazia Shakeel has been arrested while her husband is on the run.
The couple created a fake death certificate and documents of the wife earlier this month and later claimed the insurance policy.
A few days later when a staff of the ICICI went to inquire at their residence, he was received by Nazia.
Following this, ICICI prudential life insurance policy management filed a complaint with the police stating that Syed Shakeel Alam and his wife Nazia had taken one crore insurance policy in 2012 on the latter's name.
Police have registered a case under sections 406, 420, 471 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and launched a search operation for Syed Shakeel.
