Hyderabad: Rachakonda SHE Teams booked 36 cases of eve-teasing and apprehended 40 accused, including 33 majors and seven minors in the last three weeks. All the accused, along with their family members, attended the counselling session conducted by Rachakonda SHE Teams, at the Commissioner’s camp office at Nagole. Children in conflict with law were counselled by a professional psychologist to change their behaviour.
The Rachakonda SHE Teams conducted decoy operations basing on WhatsApp complaints from different areas of Rachakonda while they were teasing girls at different hotspots like junctions, bus stops, working places and colleges in Rachakonda area limits. All were booked under petty cases and were counselled by professional counsellors of Bhumika Women’s Collective in the presence of their family members. Minors were counselled by Dr Vasavi Samyuktha Sunki, Chief Consultant Psychologist.
