Two girls among three killed in road accidents
Two girls were killed on the spot when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a lorry in Shamirpet police limits.
Hyderabad : Two girls were killed on the spot when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a lorry in Shamirpet police limits.
The accident occurred on Friday night on Shamirpet Road when the victims, V. Indira and Pallavi Gupta, were hit while travelling to their residence in Gandhi Nagar. Both were aged 22 years and students of a private business management college. While Indira was a resident of Kerela, Pallavi was a native of Rajasthan. Police have registered a case against lorry driver for rash driving.
In another case, S. Prabhakar, 28, of Pappannapet, died of injuries which he had suffered after he was hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road at L.B. Nagar crossroads on December 12. He said was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died today, according to LB Nagar police.
